A soldered i7 on a card with controller hub for IO.

Could build 2 systems with more performance for that price, or build one and with money saved could power it for years. Definitely a cool system though, essentially a more consumer oriented blade system. I suppose the cost if it includes lifetime warranty and support as the environment and purpose it's built for will be to handle mission critical tasks. Sigh... I hope whatever WCG projects are in the pipeline in the years to come have GPGPU built in from the the first key stroke. Would be nice to just get a card and slot it in and instant boost!! instead of building more and more power hungry rigs.
