I have been signed up for FAH2 since the beginning and haven't gotten a single work unit. Wonder why since I am running current Mac OS X and BOINC.

Simple question: Are you signed up for all WCG projects or just FAH2? Given the limited availability, it's possible you're just fishing behind the exclusive nets of other crunchers. As stated in reply to your previous post, OSX crunchers are getting them too.

I am signed up for all projects and am and my settings are
----------------------------------------"Connect to network about every .2 days Cache .5 extra days of work" Could this be the problem?

I am signed up for all projects and am and my settings are "Connect to network about every .2 days Cache .5 extra days of work" Could this be the problem? Since FAH2 is a lower priority, you may want to opt out of the higher priority projects such as MCM1. After that I would opt out of other projects slowly (one at a time) until you get the mix of projects you desire. Cheers

I already have opted out of CEP2 thinking that might be it so I will wait to see what happens there and then some others. I like contributing to as much as I can so will opt out of projects reluctantly.
----------------------------------------Thanks for your help. Edit: That worked by the way I just got a FAH2 work unit. Yeah! Thanks again

In order to get FAAH on my machines [OS X, Ubuntu & Windows 7] I alternate about every other day with turning on and off my MCM in project preferences. I run a day with all of the WCG projects selected and then run a day with all projects selected except for MCM. When I run all of the projects all of the time MCM dominates on all of my computers. This gives me a good balance of work on all of the projects.

David, If you are running WCG 24/7, I recommend to increase your cache to, let say, 1,5 days. Cheers and Crunching@Home since January 13 2000. Shrubbing@Home since January 5 2006 |

I help maintain the most comprehensive DC project website listing online. I am posting to ask why the main web site for the Fight AIDS @ Home project is looking as if it hasn't been updated in years. Thank you.
