Re: Mapping Cancer Markers project update, August 2015

My interpretation of your question is:
1) Is BOINC/WCG running on my computer?
2) Are results being returned to WCG and considered valid?

1) On your PC go to boincmgr. There should be an icon in the windows tray.
It may start in simple view mode in which case from the menu use View→Advanced View
This displays advanced view.
Click the Tasks tab and you should see your input queue with one task running for each thread available to BOINC.

2) Log in to the WCG website as you did to post in the forum
Near the top of the screen there is the 'My Contribution' link
Click the link
On the left hand side is a link to 'Results Status'.
Click on it
This shows work units sent to your computer and their status – you will usually see in progress, pending validation and valid. Other status also occur. Work units disappear from 'Results Status' within a day or two of being validated
