Source code?

Hi

This post is linked to my thread in another project where I ask for the source code of the BOINC clients.

FightAIDS@Home uses AutoDock Vina for research, correct? There is any open source code avaible?

Thanks for help

Re: Source code?

Yes, I already have the Autodock Vina source code, but I need specifically the code used by FightAIDS@Home (using boinc API).

Re: Source code?

If you have the all the BOINC source code, that would include the wrapper code... that what interfaces the science client application with the BOINC client aka daemon, that what is the traffic warden of it all. Can handle as many threads as you can cram CPU's in a computer. Largest heard of at WCG was like 96 concurrent. Can only find the profile field for processors is limited to 9999 [as an aside].

I replied in the other thread:

I would strongly urge you to setup a complete DC on your own. Do you really want to risk what the scientists are trying to do here? Would you want to be the one that returned invalid results but the system viewed them as valid and a cure for AIDS was missed because of this?

All of the software is open source.
