Re: where i can see real results of our efforts?

Hello supahere,
1 where i can see real results of our efforts? not statistics via blocks/point
Well, if you have already read the threads in the Human Proteome Folding forum, you can look at the ISB's site at http://www.systemsbiology.net/ But be warned. Until we complete sending back the results and the ISB puts up the resulting databases, there will not be anything to see except the publicity page about the Human Proteome Folding Project at http://www.systemsbiology.net/Scientists_and_..._Proteome_Folding_Project

Eventually there will be links to research papers and we will certainly have links listed to any science articles about the results. But none of that will occur before we have finished crunching this project and moved on to other projects.

3 why comp is very slow when agent is disabled?
This should not happen. By disable, I assume that you mean after you 'exit' the agent. Well, the first steps are to use Task Manager to see if any processes on your computer are using a significant percentage of the CPU. Anti=spyware and anti-virus programs are important. A lot of free diagnostic software is mentioned in the 'Useful Utilities' thread at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2490

2 how i can shedule agent?
This is briefly explained at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=devmanage
Sign in to the WCG website, then go to My Grid and then Device Manager. Create a device profile with a custom schedule, then name it (for example, Schedule1) since it is no longer the default profile. Then SAVE it, because it will disappear when you leave unless you click on the SAVE button. Once it is in your list of device profiles, assign it to your computer (device). This is necessary because you can have multiple device profiles in your list. [Such as Holiday, Vacation, Work, Residence, etc.] Until you assign it to your computer, your computer will continue to run 'default'. Once you have done all that, your Agent will download the new profile the next time it sends a result back to the server. You can verify that you are running the new profile on the Preferences page of your Agent.

Hope this helps,
