The Computing for Clean Water research team has just published a major breakthrough in a leading nanoscience journal, Nature Nanotechnology. Thanks to your help, they've discovered how carbon nanotubes could make water filters much more efficient, potentially saving lives worldwide. Learn more here.

Excellent, and a brand new slide on the front page to go with it [and the FA@H one and one other gone... at least thought there were 8 slides, but now there are 7 :]
We have 20 Euro carbon tube filters these days in the kitchen faucet. Good for 1200 liters at 2 liters/minute. Has a QC system to ensure nothing untoward is being captured [yes we had benzene in the public water coming out our pipes few years ago, so we were only drinking/cooking/tooth brushing with bottled water... cost 300 Euro's for the same quantity] |
