"xx% completed on your computer"
Occasionally, seemingly randomly, I get pop-up messages such as "88.7% completed on your computer." Would someone please confirm that these messages refers to my participation in WCG?

Is there a way I can <<call for>>i.e trigger, the display of that information?

hmm I never got any of that kind of messages on either Windows or Linux. But I think you are not the first to report these messages.

Let's wait for someone more knowledgeable to help you :)

Cannot recollect to have ever seen such pop-ups:

1) Is BOINC Manager loaded and showing in system tray?
2) What is the client version?
3) Can we get a screenshot when it shows up again, plz? (prt-sc button).
4) What Windows version?

It could be the Notices function of the v7 BOINC Manager, but it's a guess. To see notices hold the Ctrl+Shift+N keys when the BM is on screen. Project or alert messages should stay there for a period of time.

Yeah, that would be the [full-screen] display to show this, and on multi-core devices for the task that is at that moment coupled to the screensaver [the shown SS does a round robin of all running tasks] ;D
