I having a water-cooled computer with the following configuration...
M-board ASUS p9X79 WS CPU i7 4930K Video card 3 x Radeon R9 290 Radiator 9x120mm Water pump D5 The CPU is overclocked to 4200 MHz and the Vcore is set to 1.44 volt, and is reported to be 1.42 volt. Video cards is running on their original settings. I am simultaneously running 10 work units under BOINC and 3 GPU work units under Folding@home. My CPU temp is 67 degree Celsius under load and I wonder if that I to be considered as a normal temperature under this circumstances? |

Oh I would think so because of the overclock.
----------------------------------------I don't own any Intel i7. I have an AMD A8-6500 4 cores @ 3500 MHz and the temps are now at 65º but it is kinda hot - usually it is around 55º. I think those are normal. Do clean the dust and all that. I just noticed you have a watercooling system. Therefore I don't know if those temps are normal, sorry. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by Falconet at Jun 21, 2015 1:39:41 PM] |

Don't know if this any help but may be a guide . I have an I7 4790k which runs at 4.2 G Hz and is also water cooled and runs between 38 to 45 C depending on fan speeds and room temperature. So 67 C sounds a little high to me. My water cooling system is a double radiator (45mm x 120mm, 35mm X 240mm) set up.
----------------------------------------It might be worth reseating your water block. [Edit 2 times, last edit by scol5913 at Jun 23, 2015 5:42:30 PM] |

It's because of 3 GPU with 275W TDPand CPU overclock. I think it's normal.

My AMD FX 8350 X8 running @ 4.2 Ghz(that's stock speed hehe could OC to 5Ghz with no vcore change according to the tech forums I've read) is water cooled with a Corsair H80i dual fan system and it's early summer here around 25C every day for a week now but my condo is about 29C I run WCG at 40% with temps between 50-70C depending on time of day. In the Corsair setup manual it suggests that I go into my BIOS and turn off the "Cool and Quiet" option otherwise my water pump will not be running at 100% right now it's running at 2176 rpm. with that BIOS feature turned off. Intel will have some type of CPU fan controller as well in your BIOS to make the fan run quietly, turn that feature off and make sure your CPU fan is running at 100%.Plus I am running SETI@home on my GPU that also heats up the inside of my PC box as well must add to the temps
