I have been on since 5/16/15 but have no run time. Would you please advise what I should do?
Thanks you, Albert Delano Asher |

You are right. Under that name there are no results. Please post the first 50 or so lines in BOINC messages so we can see them and help.

Hi Albert,
----------------------------------------Open up your BOINC account manager, and ensure that you're in the Advanced View, from where, you can click on the 'Projects' tab. Here, you should see the Account which you're crunching under - and that should match your log on name. If not, then that could well be the reason. PS. If you're an IBM employee and installed the software from IBM's internal ISSC, then that's generally set up to crunch under the team "IBM" - and if this is the case, come back and we can help set you up on crunching under your own account. ![]() |

From Asher's previous thread, he's talking about a private machine. We need those initial 50 lines from the Event Log [Ctrl+Shft+E keys] copy/pasted into a reply to start diagnosing.

This is copied from My Projects:
Available Projects Participate in All Projects Outsmart Ebola Together • Please review the system requirements before opting to participate in this project Uncovering Genome Mysteries Mapping Cancer Markers The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 • Please review the system requirements before opting to participate in this project FightAIDS@Home Please note: Some projects may occasionally have periods where no work is available. If you choose to receive work for only one project, the project may, at times, not have work units available for download. For this reason, we recommend that you select more than one project. If my computer can process work on my graphics card, then please send me work to run on my graphics card for the projects that I have selected above. If there is no work available for the project(s) I have selected above, please send me work from another project. Please opt me in to new projects as they become available. Changes will not take effect until the next time that your grid agent communicates with the servers (i.e., when the current work unit has finished processing) |

I don't have 50 lines, but will this copy help you) You do have 50 lines indeed and what you posted is no help. Go here.... http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Simple_view follow the instructions and get the first 50 lines from your "The Event Log window" |

Your not giving the info we're asking for. If you don't know 'how', tell us! The Event log is from an open BOINC Manager. Does not matter if in simple or advanced view, ctrl+shft+e would open up the log window. It's almost as if you have not run the 7.2.47 BOINC installer as since March 16 when you joined WCG there never was a single device connected. The installer version of WCG would automatically set you up, long as you're already logged into the website through your webbrowser.

You were correct. I thought the Boinc software had been added, but it apparently did not take. Thank you very much. It is now running. Al Asher
