A new site has popped up which some of you may have heard about, giving free grid computing software away in exchage for you doing nothing. Here's how it works:
----------------------------------------- Go to http:www.worldcommunitygrid.org and download the software. - Install the software - Run the software - Help advance science! This is legit, a BBC article was written on it recently: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4024931.stm If you google it you can get more info on it. It's not junk I swear, I;m just a normal 20 year old girl, and I found this site through friends who've also done it and it has worked. Give it a go - what have you got to lose? It costs absolutely nothing! Take a chance! lol

Hello thatgirl101,
I am not trying to embarrass you, but this sort of post is called a 'referral' advertisement. It is a method of recruitment that can become irritating when it starts to take over on a forum. 'Free' offers are ultimately driven by paid subscriptions. Most people on the Internet soon become wary of 'free' give away schemes. Yes, they can work for a few people, but after a short time, they start to seem like Nigerian '419' scams or chain letters. Better not push it or a lot of people will start trashing this thread. mycrofth |

I tried to get a free Xbox one time and now my Yahoo account gets about 700 spam messages a day.
