Re: Possible OET1 blockage?

Here it's OK now - already getting lots of OET and CEP2 units.

Re: Possible OET1 blockage?

I regularly receive messages no WU's available. It resolves itself within a few hours maximum.

Cheers,
Paul

Re: Possible OET1 blockage?

I'm questioning whether this is really resolved. I came home to find my laptop idle. I've selected for only Ebola tasks because if I don't I hardly get any. This was the message in the Event Log:

4/26/2015 3:45:58 PM | World Community Grid | Requesting new tasks for CPU
4/26/2015 3:46:00 PM | World Community Grid | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
4/26/2015 3:46:00 PM | World Community Grid | No tasks sent
4/26/2015 3:46:00 PM | World Community Grid | No tasks are available for the applications you have selected.
4/26/2015 3:46:00 PM | World Community Grid | Tasks are committed to other platforms
4/26/2015 3:46:00 PM | World Community Grid | This computer has finished a daily quota of 5 tasks

What is this about 5 tasks? It's on both my laptop (I agree a slower performer) and my main machine which handles way more than 5 tasks per day.

Re: Possible OET1 blockage?

OK. During the posting of my message, I noticed my laptop suddenly got its four Ebola tasks (for some reason WCG only sends four tasks at a time to my laptop so there is never a backlog for when there are outages). Hopefully, it's back to normal now.

Re: Possible OET1 blockage?

I am stil getting this:

Wed 29 Apr 2015 12:18:31 PM WEST | World Community Grid | Requesting new tasks for CPU
Wed 29 Apr 2015 12:18:34 PM WEST | World Community Grid | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
Wed 29 Apr 2015 12:18:34 PM WEST | World Community Grid | No tasks sent
Wed 29 Apr 2015 12:18:34 PM WEST | World Community Grid | Não estão disponíveis as tarefas para as aplicações selecionadas.
Wed 29 Apr 2015 12:18:34 PM WEST | World Community Grid | Tasks are committed to other platforms

I have both FAHV and OET1 selected now but if I have only OET1 selected I get those messages.
Currently I have around 10 FAHV tasks and 2 OET1 - using Linux 64 bit.
