Installation issue

I am trying to install the latest version of BOINCMGR. However I am getting the following errors while starting manager or client

./boincmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libwx_gtk2u_html-2.8.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

./boinc: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

My OS is Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation.

I am sorry if this is a duplication. I am not getting any result while searching "library installation". If there is any solution do send me the link.

I am now
Thanks
Swami

Re: Installation issue

Only know Ubuntu [The Linux tested platform used by Berkeley devs], but WCG help has this [WCG Help is searchable with Google]: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=boinc#663

Re: Installation issue

Thanks a lot Rob for your reply.

I am able to find the library files it is looking for in /usr/lib64. Is there any way to make the boinc to look at this path. I tried creating a softlink in the boinc directory, but it did not work.

and the link you gave above has an older version, which I am already using due to this library file issue.

Re: Installation issue

BOINC follows the path search vars [I think], so adding these to the path could solve this. There's always been discussion of dynamic and static linking when compiling the client. Regrettably though for RHEL there's very little to be found, nearest to building it yourself is here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/CompileClient

Re: Installation issue

I did add the path to variable $PATH, but it did not work. Not sure which path it is looking for. If that is known, I could probably create link from that directories. But for now, my older version 6.1`.x is running :)
