Did not take long to get one to come along, Android 5.1, Nexus 7. It happened when the eyelids were thoroughly covering the irises, i.e. was not in use! That was 1 in 6 so far:

----------------------------------------The result report could be longer or shorter but exit code and error code is the same. I'm loosing about 50% of my Android jobs like this. This device doesn't contribute much anyway but every result counts and could make a difference! /andgra

Have you checked the hint I gave you?

Apparently the memory leak was not fully fixed in 5.1 [though now RAM use never gets above 60%], and a 5.1.1 is supposed to be on it's way. Not going to sideload/OTA or whatever and wait until the update gets pushed down. And so much for PIE... for FAHV it made no difference. Just can't understand the same science engine gives such a high failrate on FAHV, when on OET hit at one point 96% valid rate [hands-off series]... and if failing the same SIGSEGVs or Signal 11. |

Sorry Rob I don't read very well as you probably already figured out :). I have a 2012 wifi only and have tried tweaking the boinc settings but have not been able to recreate it. If you are willing to provide any more information can you please send an email to our support address and I we will send some additional instructions.
For any others having the issue is it on a wifi only device or one with both wifi and some kind of cell service? I am in the process of updating the build environment and boinc code and getting ready to do an internal alpha to see if we can recreate on any of our internal devices. Thanks, armstrdj |
