Re: FAAH Progress Tracking Thread: 91%, 14 JAN 2015

OK, that one flew over, so here's the next attempt: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=482796

And YES WCG does compute on clock!
The estimated completion on the research page shows how far we are in overall clock time to completion. So say it's at 20%, and that took us 1 month to complete. That means there is another estimated 4 months of work left. Please remember, UGM ran fast at the beginning, but is now running slow.

Thanks,

Re: FAAH Progress Tracking Thread: 91%, 14 JAN 2015

99% with an April 2015 end indicator, but no 6 month notice, no 30 day warning and processing batches that are beyond those indicated for the last experiment 172 and a scientist that 2 months ago said there was a year's worth of work [at old distribution speed]. Do you understand?

Non ho capito nulla.

Re: FAAH Progress Tracking Thread: 91%, 14 JAN 2015

As this project now jumped to 100%, OET jumped from 1% to 26%, and I'm still pulling new WUs for FA@H that are not resends, I don't believe the project is over until the man behind the curtains says it is.

Re: FAAH Progress Tracking Thread: 91%, 14 JAN 2015

It appears there is plenty of work still available I asked for new work from this project only and received 412 tasks. (I have 8 cores 16 thread's) At a quick glance it looks like they are from batches 975501 and 975502

Yes, 100% and no end date [but who needs one if being at 100% ;>]

I agree with you to a certain extent Rob however I think it is slightly misleading if the project is not nearing the end of the current workload until auto dock work comes back.

On the research page I do find what is on the February 2015 tag to be quite interesting "the end of the beginning is near"

Re: FAAH Progress Tracking Thread: 91%, 14 JAN 2015

The summation was, that AutoDock has been permanently stopped [concrete footpiece], and AD Vina were to run out with no further experiments. Also saw a note by the scientist that there was some verification work, which I guess is what the high numbers are above the last specified experiment. Anyway, I was a bit facetious with the 'who needs an end date at 100%', as in either 100% is right or the end date is really more than 6 months away :D. Nothing is, what it seems these days, so scheming contributions to various sciences becomes difficult cool

Scheming contributions to various sciences is indeed difficult. I always expect the worse after the abrupt endings of CFSW, SN2S, HCMD2 and, DDDT2. In fact this seems to be the norm.
