Insights for techs.
----------------------------------------Running iMac with i5-2500S (4-cores, non-HT'ed), 12 GB RAM, HDD, Mac OS X 10.10.1 (Yosemite), 7.4.26. CPU utilization is only 80% while in the same time (OK, not exactly in the same, but you know what I mean  ) UGM1 has 90 - 92% utilization when I am working on PC and 97%+ when I am not (when I shrubbed FAHV the utilization has been similar to current UGM1).CPU utilization on my Win rig - HT'ed i7-3770 (4 cores / 8 threads), 8 GB RAM, SSD, Win 7 SP1 64 b, 7.4.22 and 7.4.27 - is excellent, 99% (as for all other WCG apps). We are working on some other issues and should be testing a new build soon. We will take a look at this and see if we can get improvements.

It seems to be a Yosemite - AD VINA problem.
----------------------------------------Yesterday I (re)started FAAH sub-project and the utilization of FAAH WU's is OK - over 97%, but the utilization of FAHV WU's is only 82 - 85%. Crunching@Home since January 13 2000. Shrubbing@Home since January 5 2006 |
