Techs: Any chance the OET1 WU availability issue will be fixed by Friday?

It's interesting as now we have 5 out of 6 projects at WCG with supply and or feeder limitations. Maybe they should just let it fly and let people run what they want? I dropped out of CEP2 because as the WU's are having issues, no machine is trusted anymore and the quorum is not 1. I view it as wasteful for 4 to 6 people to crunch a WU that all results in an error or crunching WU's that should only have to be crunched once. |

hhhmmm... I'm usually not affected by OET shortages (lucky I guess), but I just looked at my queue and it's looking rather short (4 threads crunching, 5 OET waiting, 1 HST waiting). The event log says:

So I will probably run out of work in 5-6 hours. I'll keep an eye on it before going to bed. If it still looks dire, then I'll have to switch over to FAAH2 for a while. Can somebody go kick the OET server please !  [UPDATE]: I whacked the update button and got 5 more OET WUs... so I'm guessing that there are OET WUs available, just not as many as before (or whatever explanation the techs give). I am having to manually kick the feeder for OET1 recently to keep it going. I am looking into a way to prevent this from having to be a manual process. We have plenty of work, just feeder is getting clogged.

Just a duh moment, but is there possibly a forgotten rule that's tied to the batch numbers in the OET WU... "If the increment is greater than N, stop feeding" ... after all you started packaging multiple WU in single tasks.
(Of course not, but you can always run a script to remind you to kick the system :O)))))))))) |

Will be rolling several servers to OET tomorrow (maybe some this afternoon) as part my normal WU rotation. If history is any guide, will be looking to download about 7000 to 10000 WUs. Is that going to create additional clogging issues? If it will help, I can move them over 1 at a time over a period of time... Is it getting clogged up with Android WUs? I have only received one _0 WU over the past 6 days on my Android devices.
----------------------------------------We're currently at 3467 and when we get to 3666 the flexible units will start. Don't the flexible units run a little faster than the static units?
