BOINC 4.4.27 Windows 7
----------------------------------------I am getting "Message from serfer: missing or bad parameter: e:mail_addr" I lost my hadrdrive and I just reinstalled windows and have installed BOINC and get this error message. I am entering my username and password and get this error message trying to add WCG as an application useing the tool drop down. I can add other projects. Why is it when the spelled out example given is with the -accountkey- you start inserting userid password?

I removed the project then redid the command with the accountkey instead of userid and password....same results.

Don't know why you can't follow -exact- example, a simple copy type of
boinccmd --project_attach www.worldcommunitygrid.org account_key -including- the 'world' piece.  |

I can follow, there might be something else wrong. This was a clean install of windows, I installed the ATI drivers, and then installed BOINC. Nothing else is on the machine and collatz runs fine.
----------------------------------------I removed the attached WCG project I shutdown BOINC I restarted BOINC I did a cd to the directory of /programdata/boinc I copy and pasted your command above into the command line I deleted the words "account_key" I copy and pasted my weak key I still get the same error message |

Possibly you detached from world community grid when it got correctly attached, but in the project tab you left http://www.communitygrid.org which is giving these messages. When replicating what you did on my machine, got

Someone could set up a honeypot with how things seem to operate, a bogus project and wait for more like in this case attach typing the wrong url and then start computing whatever. |
