can not download any new workuint

Both my Android phone and laptop can not download any new workuint today in CHINA. Most of my WCGer friend encounter this problem today.

Inside china is a problem, we're aware of the big internet wall operated around your country. If you post a message/event log from start to where the downloads fail, we may see if it's just a technical issue, such as the wcg cloud files being bad.

Wcg has partnered with cas@home of the tsinghua university through the clean water project so it would be odd if this project's ips would get blocked and since you posted, not at all likwly.

Noting, the last few days had to switch the dns servers several times in my router to be able to get to the wcg forums. Very poor response, so mementarily using opendns as main server and goolgle dns as secondary server.

The Chinese internet wall doesn't seem to cause this.... when I use a VPN I still cannot download new tasks. It seems we are being blocked at the source...

And the strange thing is, some files can be downloaded other files fail:

agreed with Smitjes .
*.job & *.zip can downloaded smoothly .But fahv.*.pdbqt was stalled .Maybe there was something wrong on server side.

Ok, weekend is over... can somebody look into this issue please?
I still cannot download any new jobs.

By the way this issue is not related to android, I am running on windows 7.
So this topic is posted in the wrong forum.

The problem is seems is with the non-permanent job files. Tried an anonymous proxy to get through?

Latter is related to the content delivery system which distributes the permanent job files and applications.

Mid-west america does not wake up until another 4-5 hours.

Still can't download fahv.*.pdbqt files(both Android & compuer ). Other files and upload are ok.Is there something wrong with cdn?

BTW. My computer has resolved this problem by using http proxy. But Android Boinc didn't support http proxy, So it is still stalled at fahv.*.pdbqt files downloading issues .

You could be right in that the .pdbqt are permanent files coming form the cdn. Not seeing them being listed on my tab when fetching work, just .job and .zip files. In that case it is once again the technicians who have to refresh the cloud stored files.

today FAAH-vina update .And FAHV.*.exe can't be downloaded either. Maybe there is something wrong with CDN(BDD7.https.cdn.softlayer.net).
Can you check it ? Our Chinese can't download CDN files since 2014/11/14.
