ind,
I think I may have found your problem, looking into your device profiles, you have an option selected to NOT run work on your CPU. Please go into both of your device profiles and change them to allow CPU. This is done on the website. Go to Settings -> Device Manager. You'll see a list of your devices, click on the link for Default and Home, since you have it set for both profiles. Once you're into editing the device profile, you'll need to check on the box for custom. About 1/3 the way down, you'll see this option "Allow research to run on my CPU?" Change that to be Yes. After you change that, press save at the bottom of the page. You'll need to do this for both of your device profiles you have set. Once this is done, the next time your agents contact World Community Grid, they'll get the new settings. It may take them two updates to actually download work. Thanks, -Uplinger |

What a coincidence http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...433_lastpage,yes#lastpost, and you having the rights to look into member device profiles. Why did you chose to change the standard reference of 'projects' to 'research in that option?

lavaflow,
I don't remember why it was changed or if it was changed. I bet it was part of a greater checkin of the source code, thus it will take too long to search why the wording was changed or who made the change. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Uplinger & lavaflow, thanks for the continued support here.
----------------------------------------Had to laugh at the CPU thing you pointed out. I think a while ago I was testing the waters with GPU crunching and disabled that in the profile at some point. Sigh. Anyways, I did as you said and enabled that portion. I still think there is something messed up in my profile though, because it didn't immeidately fix the issue. I had to go in to the "Default" profile and change it from Custom to Maximunm Output. Even after chosing Update on my BOINC app, I had to remove and re-add to take any effect. EDIT: looks to be using cores as normal. I'll update all my devices (PC & Android) and report back. --- IT WORKED, RESOLVED! :) Thanks again!
