Amount of WU's for each device

Hi,

sometimes I don't really get why some of my devices get only a few WU's in queue and some get a huge amount of WU's.

For example my powerful machine at home only gets 2-3 WCG WU's in queue.
My crappy laptop at work just got about 80 (!!) WU's, which I can never process until the deadline, which is only a few days away.

The laptop's profile is set to cache 1 extra days of work, my machine at home to 7 extra days.
But it's actually the other way round.
Why does that happen?

Re: Amount of WU's for each device

If you use the minimum work buffer formerly known as 'connect every nn days' setting with 7 days and you've selected mcm with a deadline of 7 days, you're telling wcg that essentially your node wont return the latest received task result in time, so it only sends minimum. Why your laptop gets 80, pass? Usually it's when the projected time to complete is completely off. Just let it run and eventually the laptop agent will wise up, or the server.
