Hello,
I was running a BOINC Client for over a month on one of my computers. Since a few days, it has no work to do anymore, and doesnt downloads anything. It tries to download stuff, but thats weird, It always sais itll repeat downloading in 4 to 6 hours for a file called cep2.1_Picture4.tga which got 1 mb size. Did I set anything wrong or are there problems with the servers? Greetings, SonicTTH |

Scan the forums for past incidences. The content delivery system, or whatever the name is today for the cloud, may be corrupted and needing a refresh of the fixed files. The .tga files mostly are, one time downloads.
Before that, since the host has no work, just do a project reset, so the agent will try a fresh download of the related files. |

Hello,
Thanks for the hint, I reseted the project and the client started downloading data and working again. But the mentioned file still comes back into the download list and isnt downloaded; So everytime my client downloads new projects to work on and stuff but the mentioned file comes always back and stops there. |

Tested today on linux and got the picture4.tga just fine for cep2.
If you do Ctrl+shft+e to open the event log of boinc, is there anything said about a problem with this file? Think you can't do anything at this time if this keeps repeating, the technicians having to refresh the cloud copies. |
