Interesting to say the least. They can call it windows 100 if they want, question is will it live up to the hype of being the new Windows XP or 7. I certainly hope so as I still enjoy the windows (7) experience.

If MS doesn't change course, I'll continue to use Windows 7 until 2020, and then move on to Linux.

On the bright side, first reviews say it's much like 7. Glad to see they found a clue.

They threw the baby out with the bath water with 8
----------------------------------------All those years of increasing familiarity after DOS. 3.1, Windows for Workgroups, 95, NT4, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 98SE, Millennium Edition <cough>, XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows 7 and then Where's control panel and you scroll right to left !!! On the main screen you just type System into nowhere and you get the System. Of course you do that's perfectly intuitive. Microsoft you will take a lot of forgiving (typed from the beautiful Windows 7 64 Bit Home Edition) Dave ![]() |
