Relisting downloaded projecst so that they run

Hi

My machine crashed and I had to rebuild it and load everything back on including Boinc.

It connected up to the server and get new projects which was fine.

I then did a restore of some backup file and one of the folders was the folder where Boinc data was and it loaded my half completed job back in which is fine they are now running.

However in the folder I have all the downloaded data from the other projects it downloaded when I first connected but it has deleted the "file" that controls that projects that have been downloaded and need to be run.

Any way of adding these back into the list of jobs to run so that I can clear them?

Kinda hard to figure out exactly what you're asking here so I'll stab at the dark.

Any work units it restored and are running is a bonus for you. Typically a restore doesn't work so well.

Any projects where files are missing, the server will restore those files as soon as they are needed.

If you've got additional work units that didn't properly restore, those are most likely lost irretrievably.

Thanks for the reply.

I think you have answered my question.

Basically I assume a file has a list of all downloaded projects and what has to be loaded for them to be run. (correct me if I am wrong)

If that is the case and I overwrote this file by coping backed up data into the file, if cleared the list file.

So my question is for the projects that were on the list file that I over wrote can I load the projects back into the running list manually or are they gone?
