Sometimes things go thermal-nuclear leaving no traces or credit behind (just a warm cpu). Some (myself included) are left wondering how the last couple beta runs have been completed and some of us ended up with a 'baseball' perfect game (no hits-from WUs, no (WUs) runs, no (WUs) errors) - even in my case when I'm generally running my laptop most of those nights when some beta action happened to pop up. I even took a shower every one of those days and no beta singles action. No beta love for this little cruncher....Such is life....... Everyone of us (OK, let say, "majority of us") is aware it is a beta and the results might end as in this wave. But I do expect to be credited for them regardless of outcome. Because I let my PC works for the project's risky trial. And I have always posted my insights to the techs to help them solving the problems arose from such risky trials (also known as Betas). Can I claim the credits for such help? I think so. Otherwise, it is just a cherrypicking on this project. Cheers Crunching@Home since January 13 2000.
