Aaargh, I get empty emails as my Mailclient is configured to display HTML Emails as plain old good text mails. Sadly ONLY WCG fails to either have an option to get only text mails or using simple HTML tags so that the client still displays the RELEVANT stuff from the email.
Is there no configuration to get plain-emails? |

Which mail client is this, as when toggling view in thunderbird 31 between original html and plain text, the mails from wcg look either glossy vanity fair or irc, iow can't reproduce.

sry for the late response. I thought the forum software would send me a mail when somebody answers in this thread (I have to check my profile).
well, yes. I'm using Thunderbird at the moment (I'm considering switching to trojita) and I have change my preferences to plain text only. If I try to read a newsletter by wcg in plain text, the mail is simply empty and only shown when i switch to the standard HTML. But I do not want that. Until now I also haven't found a work around to display only wcg mails as HTML mails. :-( so I wish there would be a simple "send me only text-only mails" option in the preferences. :-( |
