Albert@Home is an alpha test site for Einstein@Home, and is therefore often down when there is nothing that needs alpha testing, or when some server hardware failure prevents running both Albert@Home and Einstein@Home at once.

Why bump a 6 month old thread? At other BOINC forums any 'idle' thread gets auto-locked after 30-60-90 days. Got same problem, start new one with link to the old.
Albert was active in the last week to test an Android 5.0+ readied app. Einstein is now the seeming only that have a working application for Lollipop.:<| |
