it was working perfectly just a week ago when i used it .
when i checked if i could send voice messages on whatapp it says - ' can't setup the recorder now, please try again later'
when i try voice search it says ' audio problem '
when i try voice recorder it doesn't display a message but just doesn't respond .
calls work perfectly and the person on the other end can listen to what i am saying .
i switch off and switched it back on and the first time i did that and immediately went to voice recorder - it worked and recorded my message and i could play it back.
but when i tried to record a second message it didn't work . i tried the same restarting thing again and it didn't work .
the voice message in whatsapp and voice search didn't work even after restart .
Anyone encountered a similar thing and know what the problem is ?

Update : the models is galaxy ace , i asked a friend with the same phone hoping it was either the problem of handset or all android phones , but it worked for him .
Update 2: if i can't send voice mail its fine , sad , but fine . The main problem is how everything else is also not working and all of them have something to do with audio -voice recorder, voice search .Oh and my friends version is the same as mine 2.3.6 and it works for him , i read the whatsapp faq and it says voice mail should not work for 2.3.6 and lesser versions but it works for him.
