New Experiments

I checked the status page (http://fightaidsathome.scripps.edu/status) and saw three new groups of experiments were added a few days ago. Now I can match some of the newer WU numbers with experiment numbers.

Do you know when the percentages for the submitted experiments will be updated as well? There are a few pockets of experiments (mid 70s, late 90s, etc) that I am really curious have finished or not.

Thank you for the detailed update page, it is really appreciated!

Re: New Experiments

Hello Seoulpowergrid,

Most likely, they are finished. I had no idea that when I started creating these long tables of batch numbers that the status website itself would be a resource for myself to track missing batches. This is, perhaps, unfair to the Donors. However, it does reflect the inefficiencies that I have been chasing--the workflow/pipeline implemented before the "Vina boom" were not meant to handle such a level of high-throughput that we are experiencing. sad Lessons learned! As we speak, MGL developers are working on database concepts to be inserted into the AutoDock Tools pipeline.

I appreciate everyone's patience, and I will try to have this all remedied by the end of the month.

Thanks,

Dan

Re: New Experiments

Hello Dan,

"Most likely, they are finished."
-Amazing and congratulations! I really started getting involved with this project during the "Vina Boom" so I have little baseline to compare it against. Everything I have heard sounds you are overwhelmed in the best possible way.

The fact that you have batch tables with WU number tags allows me to see progress in a tangible way and brought me back to WCG as another Boinc project had no communication/feedback to speak of. Outdated or not I really appreciate the effort and updates put into it/the forums.

Cheers~

@Dan, FYI there seems to be a gap on the update page:

Experiment 148 ends with 847132
Experiment 149 begins with 865236

So if the numbers aren't lining up, and it's giving you stress, that is why.

Best~

suggestion: can u please just put the date when was the last BATCH of data added...that would give us an estimate when was the last science added...and how is the progress of the science being done from that day...

thx

That is a known gap, but thank you.
