Interesting reading about the latest update 2 posts above this. However I gather since there is no mention about GPU use it is not coming at this stage. This is a shame however the project will last longer.

I hope WCG does something GPU related again someday... I have a lot of horsepower I'd love to apply here instead of for other distributed projects. AMD 7870 x2, 5870 x2, NVIDIA GTX660, GTX440, and Quadro 1000M... all running 24/7.

This is a shame however the project will last longer.
as it is, the project is currently guestimated to end in ~12 months time...
