That would be anything down to the extremely unlikely System/38. If so, what hardware resources are allocated to WCG?

In 1999 IBM announced OS/400 V4R4 for their AS/400 midrange platform. This new release provided the ability run Windows NT on the Integrated Netfinity Server. We had been using an IBM i5 570 integrated “PC” servers until 2008.
----------------------------------------Is anyone using any of the IBM i systems for WCG crunching? But most of all, is IBM?? I would love to hear how it performs on the grid. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by yoro42 at Jul 14, 2014 2:29:37 AM] |

Yoro,
I use a handful of xSeries servers. They vary in performance to help us test speed and other items. As for IBM i systems, it is my understanding that they all had Power processors in them. Since power processors are not supported on World Community Grid it would be my guess nobody has them running. Thanks, -Uplinger |
