RUN WCG DIRECTLY?

CAN I ONLY RUN WCG PROJECTS USING BOINC OR DOES WCG HAVE ITS OWN DESKTOP CONTROL PROGRAM?
IF WCG HAS A DESKTOP HOW DO I GET IT?

You could use a stick to boot Ubuntu with WCG installed. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is free and works great for me.

You can run WCG using both generic BOINC or WCG-approved BOINC which you can download here http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/reg/ms/viewDownloadAgain.do
