Linux Support Forum

The following is the description of the retired Member to Member Support Forum -
This forum was previously used for members to post questions and answers related to installing and running the agent, the message board, and general advice on PCs running the project. It has now been retired and replaced by the Website Support, Windows Agent Support and Linux Agent Support forums.
.....so where is the Linux Support forum? wink

Re: Linux Support Forum

Rather astute, were it not there's no 'windows agent support' either. Seems it all is covered, with exception of android maybe, under 'boinc agent support'. There was a 'ud windows agent support', but it's in a retired state since probable the previous decade.

Re: Linux Support Forum

I also would like a Linux discussion and support forum.
Not just a Linux 'Agent' Support forum, but a Linux support forum, for all Linux discussions.
I have been using the chat forum for my Linux questions, and I did get help there, but it's better to have all the Linux threads handy.

The BOINC Agent Support forum is for all platforms, except Android. The Android device gets its own forum because it was a completely new platform for us, and we needed to separate those discussions. There is no Linux Agent Support forum.

We need to change the description in those retired Member forums, so as not to confuse people wink

Thanks,
ErikaT
