The other day I visited the site and noticed the change and it looks good, anyway as I left I was asked to do a survey which I did followed by offer as a reward because I used to trust this site I didn't think about then I looked at again and realized that this was a scam and I have to go about extracting myself from it and also contacted WGC through the contact page and no reply yet, I've been supporting WGC for some time and I'm disappointed by their lack of any explanation, has anyone experiencing the same?

What do you mean "on exit of site"? How do you exit?

Why did you post the link so everyone else can get scammed? Please edit your post and remove that link before others click through it. This is your problem and not the WCG's. Don't expect an answer from them other than this thread possibly getting deleted.

Hi jr1, if you closely at the url link given above you will notice that it must have been a exit script link tied to a page and as such I assume it is part of WCG and it was a four question's about WCG new website, and it seem to be a survey extension with a reward. Something for doing a survey after all its in a good cause. in this case just postage, pop in my card details after all what can go wrong then a penny dropped then I put on my glasses and started to look closer and read what I just signed up to. when you read the small print it runs into a lot of money, I'm been waiting for WCG for a explanation for a few days but no answer so I had to post here, shame..

jon forbes, we do not have a link that opens after you close our webpages. My guess is you have some software installed on your computer such as spyware or a web search bar across the top of your browser which opened the link. I would recommend checking your system using a security software of your choice.
Also I am going to remove the link above from your post as it is not associated with World Community Grid and is probably a phishing site of some sort. The site being a possible phishing site is my opinion only as I do not trust it and would not click on it Thanks, -Uplinger |

jon forbes, which operating system does your computer have?
I also think your system may need to be checked. |
