On many forums there's a way to send local messages. They're called various things but they're not forum posts they're private messages to other members that don't leave the website and can only be read by logging onto the forum website.
----------------------------------------If there's a way to do that here? I haven't been able to figure out how. Some members hide their email address (I do) and if you want to send them a private message such a personal message is the only way. |

No can do. It is something that has been mentioned on several occasions here over the years but as of yet I haven't seen anything on the forum to indicate that this will change any time soon.

Some of us have been begging WCG to upgrade this POS software for years but their response is basically that it's not worth doing since no one comes to the forum.
----------------------------------------Of course until recently, the forum was their only means of effectively communicating with members so we'll ignore that slight bit of pretzel logic. The fact of the matter is that WCG never has and likely never will regard the forum as being any sort of priority for their poor over worked staff, so don't even think about getting a PM function for the forum - at least not in this universe. ![]() ![]() |
