I don't think Photobucket is the problem, Sekerob is the problem That's a rather inflammatory statement about someone who has been providing a service for you at his own expense. If he chooses not to take advantage of the hosting offers, it's a shame that we could not improve upon the service--but it's his decision to make. It would be nice if such stats could be integrated into the WCG site, but I wouldn't hold your breath. So, we're left with community members to fill in the gaps. |

The poster was saying that it could be Photobucket that was preventing the updates, I stated that it was more likely to have been Rob not updating as he has not been seen around for a while. You meanwhile accused me of insulting Rob and instead INSULTED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

It sounded like an attack, because you didn't provide any context beyond Sekerob turning down the hosting offer. I don't think Photobucket is the problem, Sekerob is the problem so your hosting offer probably makes no difference. I seem to remember in the past that Sekerob was offered hosting but decided to stick with them. |

Let's see if this can be, uh... hhhmmm... let's just say clarified . I know what Scribe tried to say (because I've read enough of his posts). Noderaser took it literally. Scribe statements tend to be black or white (diplomacy is not his forte).... but he is correct in indicating that the Photobucket is not the problem: Sekerob has to update his charts and he has been MIA from the forums for a while (although the charts did just get updated recently). So there you have it... did that set the record straight or did I just start WWIII ?

Are the images just generated by a script, or is he uploading them manually?

They are updated? Fantastic! I really love this feature as I'm a visual learner I feel the need to see progress.
----------------------------------------I would be against deleting them as they could too easily be forgotten (out of sight, out of mind) and a replacement never comes. If charts exist and are simply not replaced it could create enough of an issue for WCG to do something about it. And yes, I live in a shame based society ;) |

SekeRob appears to be continuing to update at least some of his charts.
Our team's top priority remains maintaining our current active research projects to ensure that the research scientists are receiving the support required to move their research forward and working with additional researchers to launch future projects. If SekeRob decides that he no longer has the capacity to maintain his wonderful charts, we will review whether we can add some of that information to future website enhancements. We applaud SekeRob for his support and continued dedication to World Community Grid. |
