I decided to post this here rather in Clean Energy Phase 2. If that's incorrect tell me and I'll move it.
----------------------------------------I run WCG projects on two computers. But, only one of them can comfortably run Clean Water Phase 2. Is there a way to limit it to only one of the two computers? Edited to correct project name ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by i_am_jim at Apr 14, 2014 11:17:46 PM] |

Yes you can. Just use different profiles for each computer.
----------------------------------------Also, it is Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

By profiles, do you mean account names? That is do I have to create a new account with a new username and some way destroy the current account on that computer?

No, go to Settings on your account page (top right) and go to Device Manager, there are 4 different profiles... Select one, define CEP2, select the number of tasks at a time (see the system requirements) and save it, then in device manager, assign that profile to the PC you want to run CEP2 Leave the other PC assigned to the other profile... |

I made my second profile named Home
----------------------------------------But, I can't figure out how to assign it to the computer I want. Both computers have the profile Default assigned. I go into the one I want to assign Home but there is no place to make a profile choice. I can uncheck Default, which I do, but it doesn't change the profile assignment from Default. And, after Saving when I go back in Default has become checked again. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by i_am_jim at Apr 14, 2014 10:59:46 PM] |

At the top right of the web page, click on "Settings"
Then on the left side of the page click on "Device Manager" In the middle of the page should be a list of Device Names and Selected Profiles. Click on the Device Name that you want to change to Home. It will show the "Current Assigned Device Profile". Change it to Home and click the Save button. Hope that helps. |

Yes, that worked, thanks. It seems anti-intuitive to click on device instead of profile to change the profile. but whatever, it's fixed now.

There are only 4 profiles (usually) but you can have hundreds of devices, so you select a device and give it a profile!
