Well... it was a feature of wcg in the past that was allowed... but they disabled it for the fact that some people have been putting abusive images on there. So we can't add pictures, but the teams that were here a LOOOOONG time ago who already has images still gets to keep them. I'm sure a communtiy admin can better explain...

Thanks jujaga....not a very quick reaction from my side as I have been "unplugged"  Admins - any chance of getting some favouritism like the "old" teams with their pics on their TEAM PAGE?  |

This request is not being ignored. There is a discussion going on amongst the administrators and the WCG staff. Of course there is an issue of being even-handed and not allowing abuse or offensive graphics.
----------------------------------------Therein lies the problem: What is offensive to some is not to others and things are always open to interpretation. Surely you have seen the problem before. Anyway one of us will let you know the outcome of the deliberations. |

I understand the fact that a graphics item is more easily noticeable then a text item.... but then again .... we can all post images in threads and this is not abused, so ...... surely the forum community will not misabuse this option!! It looks like there is not going to be any change in the situation here. Seems there is not the manpower necessary to do all the policing that would be necessary to keep them kid friendly. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Regards. If that is the case, perhaps it would be better if the images that are already there, are removed, to make it fairer to newer teams. |
