Hello everyone,
In some of my computers I have 4 tasks "running" at a time, while on others there are only 2 "running" at a time. How can I increase the number of "running" tasks compared to so many tasks which are "ready to start." Please advise |

Boinc only runs one task per core

The number that can be run is printed at start of the event log near the cpu specification. You can decrease the number allowed but not increase above what the cpu specifies it has.
Technical, you could get boinc to do more at the time but it will increase inefficiency. No gain, only loss. |
