idea to increase participation

we should partner up with a music downloading site like itunes or napster and ever time a member gets-lets say-1000 points we get a free song download.
----i personally think this is an awesome idea-----

Re: idea to increase participation

Nice idea - whats hawaii like this time of year anyway wink

Main thing is the big crunchers like me and UKCFC crun with works machines (+ most the ibm members prolly) so we don't deserve anything (in my opinion) but then so many people crunch with a mixture of works machines and home machine don't know how you would draw the line.

As I've said before - mainly not on this forum is that the people who impress me the most are those who crunch entirely on their own machines - there the ones paying out to help, as opossed to people like me who get highish results but don't have to part with a penny.

OOh that was a bit long for me - didn't mean for it to be a rant or anything wink biggrin

Re: idea to increase participation

Hi

My personal view is that "rewards" go against the whole philosophy of what DC is about.

The fact that one is participating in ventures that may someday save lives or at least embetter them should be enough reward in itself.

That, and the friendships made within project forums etc are more than adequate reward.

But we are all different so.....just my tuppence worth smile
