Right it's dispatched
---------------------------------------- I should have it by Friday. I'll let you know how it gets on On paper, comparing it with my just over 2 year old GTX560ti it's 1.306 TFlop's for a 60W TDP (750ti) compared to 1.263 Tflops for 170W TDP (560ti) 2 years of progress results in 2.93 times the efficiency in number crunching per watt. Pitted against, for the time, the most efficient NVIDIA 500 series GPU !! I will have it parked over at GPUGrid just waiting until the next "Help Conquer Cancer" Dave p.s. running 24/7 in the UK the reduction in my electricity bill compared to the 560ti will pay for the new card within a year ! ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Jun 4, 2014 5:43:56 PM] |

I bought the MSI twin Frozr style again (N+1 on the cooling fans)
----------------------------------------first impressions - great bit of kit, does what it says on the tin and low 50C compared to the 70C on the 560ti. V Slow running fans 80% of the way through it's first GPUgrid WU after 11 hours (Long Run) Very strange not having to connect the PCI-e cables again I'll let you know how that first WU gets on once it makes it home. Dave (just for the record my Boinc Stats Recently Averaged Credit currently says 119602 in my sig.....) ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Jun 6, 2014 7:11:48 AM] |
