I would like to run the WCG on more than one computer. Do I need to join another team, or is there another solution? I also have an iPad, which I could run if that would work. Please advise. Thanks so much. It is so very nice to be able to help in these projects. Maddy

Just download BOINC to the computers you want and just attach to WCG.
----------------------------------------Ipad's aren't currently supported. If you have an Android Device with an ARM CPU you can download BOINC from the Play Store. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by Falconet at Feb 15, 2014 3:48:27 PM] |

I'm sorry I didn't explain this very well. I did download BOINC on my other computer and entered my User Name; however, it replicated my run time and points. It did not do anything any differently than what I am running on my main computer. So, I am wondering, to get extra points for my User Name, do I have to join another team, or would that not help. Thanks

Hello Maddy56,
We are still puzzled. Your Results Status page in My Contribution will show all work units issued to Computer 1 and Computer 2. What more do you want? Lawrence |

All of your computers are aggregated under your name. If you go to the subheading of "device statistics" under "My statistics" you will see the individual results for each machine. Let us know if this solves your problem.

My points are duplicated because I am working on all projects on both computers. Therefore, they each have the same number of run time, as well as points. Does that mean everything is duplicated, including points at the end of the month? If this is the case, then I understand and am thrilled to help, as well as receive the extra points. But, if that isn't the case, I was just asking for clarification. Thanks so much for your help.

Each of your machines will crunch work units. Whether the runtime/points are similar, depends on their specifications. Points are awarded everyday, and the statistics are updated twice a day.
