Run 10 hours and restart from 0% the job when was around 30% - this happened on The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 - E219207_503_I.56.C39F12H15N5.00391269.2.set1d06
What might be the cause. |

Hello filchef,
If you click on Settings - Devuice Manager - (Selected Profile) and scroll down to Memory Usage, is "Leave applications in memory while suspended?" set to Yes? Anything that causes the work unit to be unloaded from memory will make it start over at the last check point. There are 15 check points. After about 8 minutes, it is about 3 hours to the third check point. People oftem mistake this as going back to 0% when they lose 3 hours of computing. Lawrence |

Lawrence My Windows is 7 Ultimate and in Devuice Manager I dont see any Profile just my hardware. And in BONIC Manager -Advanced - Preferences - Disk and Memory usage is checked - Leave applications in memory while suspended so this is not the point. So I restart the computer and this job start again from 3% and was 41% before restarting I quit the application so there are something wrong in this Job - can I cancel this job [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 10, 2014 3:27:07 PM] |

Use BOINC Manager to select TASKS - (work unit) - ABORT. This is how all CEP2 work units run, so you should consider eliminating it from My Projects.
