Re: smile smile smile Congrats to NL59056 smile smile smile

Many thanks Graham for the wonderful graphics! Thanks to Dave and siscm for their congratulations. And I honestly don't mind being knocked down to third place (or fourth, when you finally make third siscm). Because that just means someone else has generated even more points for WCG and that can only be good news! biggrin

Huge Congrats to you both applause

Looks like Joost has closed to within a million of CD shock I recall CD notching up the millions and thinking no one (certainly within MOT) will catch him .. hope you will be able to get the 'farm' back on and make it an interesting fight to 10million wink

Fanie - glad to see you back hugs

Has anyone heard from Julied? .. looks like Edward McCoy & Julied will make the 100K Club in the next day or so .. wtg cool

MOT is stronger than ever...

Thanks to Dave Bell and his wonderful Sauerkraut recipe:

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...3386&offset=410#25746

I tried it this weekend and it made me sooooo strong... I was even able to add
two more machines tongue tongue tongue

Dave, this stuff is FANTASTIC!!!! I made it exactly to your recipe (only browned
the bacon and onions directly in the large pot to keep all the great aroma in
it). I freezed six 400ml Tupperware boxes full to the rim and the rest (more
than a pound) went into my belly right away blushing so I was filled to the
rim as well hypnotized . THANKS SO MUCH, DAVE!!!!!! applause biggrin

Sorry Captain, with all your 27-GBP-machines I was FRIGHTENED laughing you
would get me so I had to add the machines although I promised not to.

I'm a little disappointed about the rating of a FAT server I added which
again convinced me that the benchmarks are a bit off. A HP Proliant server
with one Intel P4 Xeon 3.4GHz (only 193 CPU score) and 2 GB RAM (limited
to 300 Memory score) plus the usual 196 score for 9.77 GB HD space and
the 100 score for a nice 10/100/1000 Gigabit card (actually two of them) made
a total score of only 193...

I hope the next WCG client for Windows will be hyperthreading-aware,
two Rosetta tasks would use up 100% then. My new workstation with two
2.8 GHz Xeons (comes on Wednesday) will be rated even lower although it
has much more power... it will use only 25% of the CPUs under Windows
so for now I will run 4 virtual Windows tasks cool cool cool cool

Best, Stefan.

Stefan --

I am glad you liked it. So far, everyone from Germany that has tried it, either by recipe as you did, or when I made it for them here has loved it! Now, you will have to try the beer that I am brewing in my apartment! LOL We have our labor day holiday next weekend and I will be chilling the first case I have brewed to go along with bratwurst and a batch of my sauerkraut. I may even make potato salad as well.
