Re: Brand new phone. All tasks are computation errors. VINA killed by signal 9.

We are looking into the issue, but it is taking some time.

Thanks,

Re: Brand new phone. All tasks are computation errors. VINA killed by signal 9.

same problem but with an old ZTE blade. Tried Boinc and Native boinc, wuprop and seti packages are running fine, WCG ones give computation error at the first second.
Tried using android 2.3 and 4.2, no OC, SoC is armV7 MSM7227, 512MB RAM, FPU.
I wonder what the problem could be...

My Nexus 4 is returning valid units. It overheats if I have all four cores going at once, but works fine with three.

sorry, i have to correct myself, the cpu is ARMv6.
However it is not about overheating, other projects run fine, and I also run WCG on two other phones properly.

Re: Brand new phone. All tasks are computation errors. VINA killed by signal 9.

I have a similar problem, but worse.

On my OUYA, I ran three cores at 70-80%. Worked for a couple of days (~2), then I saw exactly what you saw: signal 9 and all that good stuff.

I tried switching to 2 cores @ 100%. It's been about a day, so I'll wait for the PVs to clear before I know for sure.

Prior to this, I had two good days of WUs, with about a 50% error rate. Now, who knows what will happen.

I don't use my OUYA at all, so it's not a case of task switching for me.

I get computational errors sometimes but it shows in my profile I have completed units several times including today, 9-9-14. I also get a message via BOINC to my phone that I hadn't participated in the WCG in a while and if I'd please return. It's computing right now as I type.

Re: Brand new phone. All tasks are computation errors. VINA killed by signal 9.

I run BOINC for ARM on a Xperia SP phone, and again, computation error issues...

But I've noticed I'm awarded some points for my device working (~1000) it is a few points but this shows that some results finish, or I'm wrong ?

By the way, I run 90 % on 50 % of the CPU (one out of two cores), I hope it could help...
