Just to let you know I had the exact same problem on two of my laptopps running BOINC. Here is what I did and it worked perfectly fine.
1) Exit the BOINC Client. 2) Uninstall BOINC 3) Reinstall BOINC 4) Restart Computer 5) Add Project again and sign in 6) Should connect now. Sometimes it will take a few minutes to connect, so just be a little patient. If it says unable to connect then it didn't work. Also take note, try those steps above first without #2 - uninstall, that might work too. Hope that helps. |
