Yep, the device will have a name that fits with my current machine naming convention. However, the thread for the build log is likely to use your suggestion! lol!

twilyth on the question of photo hosting, I've gone for PhotoBucket, for no other reason when I asked some mates they all said 'PhotoBucket'
----------------------------------------It looks ok, free storage will have to be managed or will fill up. keeping the photo size down will help. Have to see how it goes... I'll start the build log thread once most of the components have arrived, hopefully sometime next week.

Sounds like a plan, I'll do that and will use your name for the new system! I will have to find somewhere to host pics though, where is free and the best place? I use http://someimage.com/ |

Even if you don't live in USA it is often worth doing a search on newegg. "HPTX CASE" will show you a few options.
----------------------------------------A little off topic but..... A word of warning too for folks looking for EATX cases. Somehow there seem to be a number of variations of just what exactly is EATX A brief look at the wiki will show you a nice coulered graphic of all the standard atx variants and clearly shows a board of 12" x 13" as EATX However, if you read the text you get: "Although true E-ATX is 12 Ã 13 in (305 Ã 330 mm) most motherboard manufacturers also refer to motherboards with measurements 12 Ã 10.1 in (305 Ã 257 mm), 12 Ã 10.4 in (305 Ã 264 mm), 12 Ã 10.5 in (305 Ã 267 mm) and 12 Ã 10.7 in (305 Ã 272 mm) as E-ATX." So now the folks at Corsair, for example, sell EATX cases that are not drilled for the full size board rather one of the smaller variants. Fitting the full size board in the "EATX compatible" 540 case will also require changing fans to 120mm because space is so tight. It may then be worth contacting the supplier of manufacturer prior to making such a purchase. OC ![]() |
