Seeing this too, but we should be able to get new work, but I am getting:
"11-12-2013 17:46:16 | World Community Grid | Not requesting tasks: too many uploads in progress" Of course I have many uploads in progress - that's the error :-) |

Hi markoslo,
it's not never to happen. Growing pains with the enormous contribution increase that MCM project brought aboard. More storage is as I understand underway, but it takes time to get it [IBM enterprise approved] and then have it put in by the hosting center staff, then tested etc etc. Hopefully they get that done soon, at least well before X-Mas. |

@SekeRob, yea I understand that. Was just wondering, if it happened before. Just to get a feel of how long it would take for uploads to be re-enabled. Good to hear more storage is underway and the uploads are re-enabled.

Go to Transfer tab, select a file that's not uploading [maybe with a deferral counter on it] and select ''Retry now' on left. Often that sets things in motion... if all else fails, a soft boot might kick things too into action.

quick question... just how much storage is in place on an average day, raid5 or 10? and aren't there any monitors in place that say "Hey guys!!! at current storage levels we will hit rock bottom in approx. 5 days or whatever" just curious

Then go to Update the project. You should be able to get new tasks. I know by now the crisis is over, but for future reference. Cheers! ![]() Knowledge is limited. From the mda471 post few up, I'm taking it that Harvard have overcome the Ms Piggy constipation, so if you have CEP2 upload sitting [e.g. if device was set off-line to wait it out], you might want to clear them first... might get you below the 2xBOINC cores again to make your host eligible for download again. It won't help returning the Harvard-part of a CEP2-result if the WCG-part of the same result is still stuck waiting to upload. ![]() "I make so many mistakes.
