I have three completed tasks stuck with the status - Uploading (suspended - user request). This machine has been running for a long time (years) and I'm not aware of making any changes to WCG.
----------------------------------------I have gone into the Activity menu and the Network Activity always available is checked. Tools / preferences /network usage shows either zero or null values, except for Max Additional work buffer (2 days). There is one pending validation task that has a numeric value for device name. The execution time for that task is 11 hrs, which points towards coming from the problem system. All other tasks have device names that match either my XP or my Win7 machine. Hello sgsmith,
If BOINC Manager has no stuck transfer to try again, why not UPDATE WCG in the Projects tab? Then see what messages that generates in the Event Log. Lawrence |

12/10/2013 5:11:16 PM | | Suspending network activity - user request I have gone into the Activity menu and the Network Activity always available is checked. Your log shows you have suspended network activity even though you stated you have network activity always available checked. You may need to toggle this and then show the messages tab that you did this. Cheers
Sgt. Joe
