Funny how you commented on your own snip quoted post [but surely something got lost in translation]. wink

edit: But frankly on topic, this has been plaguing this service off and on for some time now... not getting immediate, but getting digest... well latter I've not seen for longer, let alone the immediate [makes the CA job even easier than it already is... we just miss feedback from problem reporters, who then might consider voting with feet... and we you, in the plural, want a working PM system ;? ;] ;?.

Yes, I guess I could've been more explicit there, but I thought it's pointless to also add all the replies I got after my own line that I quoted. So, just to explain: I was initially complaining that nobody else was...well...complaining. Then people started voicing their concerns and I was happy not being the only lunatic with a beef here (like I often seem to be tongue

).

And, also to the point: looks like we will get what we've been asking for so thanks to everyone who pitched in with your comments, concerns and suggestions!

I'm sure it would be much easier if we could pinpoint the exact moment the feature broke down as it would be clearer what change may have caused it. Unfortunately, looks like you're on your own on this one, so all I can do is wish you the best of luck!

I don't know exactly who or what happened, but I just got a notification email from the Beta Announcement forum...about something that happened on Nov 7. confused

Edit: oh, wait, I think I got it. I got all the updates that I missed from the Beta Test Announcements forum and this thread itself. So...problem solved? I guess this is probably what Keith was looking for too. If so, please confirm so I can mark this thread as [RESOLVED]

knreed was able to find the issue that was associated with sending of the notification emails. Members will probably see notifications going back about 2 months as you have noticed.
