Verification code?

How do I find my team's verification code? Why is it so difficult to find?

Re: Verification code?

When you go to the WCG forum, you click on Settings in the upper right, then sign in using your member name and password. This brings up the web page named 'My Statistics'. Then you click on 'My Profile' on the left and go to the web page named 'My Profile' which lists your member name, your verification ID and your email address.

Re: Verification code?

Somebody wrote a day or two ago that the FAQ's are impenetrable [or something to that effect]. Here's the Start Here FAQ index stickied at top of all forums: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=21501 . When opened, hit Control+F to activate page search at bottom and enter 'verification' in the search box [down below, at left for Firefox]. If 'search as you type' is set in your web-browser, then by the time you've typed 'verific' you end up at item 7-M-5 with 2 links, one to the My Profile page as a direct link and the other to the Help article explaining the function.

A fat wink
